Each Friday and Saturday, PQA Wirral West located at Upton Hall School, welcomes children from the Wirral, West Kirby, Upton, Hoylake, Moreton, Wallasey, Birkenhead, and everywhere in between, offering weekend performing arts classes.

Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 6-18. At PQA Wirral West, we are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.

The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:

•    Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
•    Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
•    Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screen write, film and act for television

Led by Principal Robert and an experienced team of teachers, we pour our passion into every session. And we firmly believe that the confidence, resilience, and communication your child gains at PQA will make a lasting impact!

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Rob is the Principal of both PQA Wirral East & PQA Wirral West! Rob trained as an Actor at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, and upon graduating appeared in a broad-range of projects across Theatre and Film & TV. Rob also completed his professional teacher training at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2020.
