PQA Wigan is a weekend performing arts school for children which offers performing arts sessions which combine acting, singing, dancing lessons, filming, and comedy. Our sessions take place every Saturday at The Deanery Ce High School And Sixth Form College.

Our weekend performing arts classes include a Comedy & Drama class, Musical Theatre class and Film & Television class for kids and young people aged 4-18. At PQA Wigan, we are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts lessons giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.

The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:

•    Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
•    Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
•    Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television

Led by Principal Hannah and an outstanding team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA; like confidence, resilience and communication will stick with them throughout life!

Our team of industry professionals are here to help, guide and nurture your child on whichever path they choose: Comedy and Drama, Musical Theatre or Television and Film. Whether that be performing on-stage at His Majesty's Theatre in the West End to seeing your child's latest Film & TV work on the big screen, there's something for everyone at PQA.
