Hi, my name is Kellie Taylor, and I am delighted to be the Principal of The Pauline Quirke Academy Halifax, Stockport and Harrogate. I have been involved in the arts from a very young age, and when I finished school, I continued my studies in the performing arts. For five years, I attended The University of Winchester where I achieved a BA Hons in Performing Arts and an MA in Creative and Critical Writing.

What I admire most about being in the performing arts is the confidence it can inspire in a person; I have seen children go from being incredibly shy to holding a leading role on a West End stage. Confidence is something I wish to help the students of PQA achieve and not just for the stage but for them to go out and be a part of this world with their head held high. My time at university taught me not only the skills to perform but also how to create my own theatre, which opens so many more doors to a person who loves the arts. This is something I wish to inspire in the students of PQA, children have amazing and vast imaginations and PQA, through their unique and tailored modules, offer them the chance to explore this while making new friends and having a lot of fun along the way, an experience that will last your children a lifetime.
