John McRoberts - Principal PQA St Helens

Hello, everyone! I'm John, and I couldn't be more thrilled and excited to serve as the Principal of PQA St Helens. My journey with PQA began in 2018 when I was part of the team at PQA Liverpool. Now, I'm absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to open my very own academy.

I'm proud to be a graduate of the University of Salford with a BA Hons in Performing Arts, and more recently, I earned an MA in Musical Theatre .I've been passionate about acting from a young age and even had my first professional role at the tender age of 8! Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working on various TV programs and even had a short stint as a children's TV presenter. Nowadays, my focus is primarily on theatre, where I've worn many hats as an actor and director. I've been fortunate enough to work in prestigious venues like The Royal Exchange in Manchester and the Liverpool Everyman. I've even had the honour of directing shows in the West End and on tour, rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest names in theatre, including Idina Menzel, Bernadette Peters, Frank Wildhorn, and John Owen-Jones. I'm genuinely excited about the journey ahead with PQA St Helens, and I can't wait to meet each and every one of you as we explore the world of performing arts together!
