PQA Putney is a friendly and welcoming performing arts academy nestled in the heart of Wandsworth. We pride ourselves on providing top-quality performing arts training in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Not only do our pupils get to explore their passion for performing, they also build confidence, develop lifelong skills and forge wonderful new friendships. 

Every Saturday morning during term time, pupils aged 6-18 get to explore our three unique modules:

PQA Putney runs at Ark Putney Academy, where we have access to not one but two theatre spaces. The school also happens to be in close proximity to the bustling Putney high street - perfect for indulging in coffee and cake whilst your children are creating! PQA Putney is led by Principal Aidan and a team of trained performing arts professionals, all of whom are DBS-checked and full safeguarding compliant. 

Whether they dream of the stage, spend all day drafting story ideas or simply want to try something new, PQA Putney has something for everyone.

Inclusive and Fun Performing Arts for Children.

Our team of industry professionals are here to help, guide and nurture your child on whichever path they choose - Comedy and Drama, Musical Theatre or Television and Film. Whether that be performing on-stage at His Majesty's Theatre in the West End to seeing your child's latest Film & TV work on the big screen - there's something for everyone at PQA. We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Growing up, my local weekend performing arts academy became far more than just somewhere to sing, dance and act. It became my safe space. It was where I discovered my confidence, found lifelong friendships and realised that a career in the performing arts was possible. That experience has stayed with me throughout my life. It’s one of the many reasons I’m so passionate about creating the same sense of belonging for every young person who walks through the doors of PQA Putney.
