PQA Leeds-Bradford is a weekend performing arts academy, which has been providing high-quality performing arts training in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment since 2014. We are incredibly proud to be part of the local community in Apperley Bridge.

Led by Principal Kimberley, along with our experienced, DBS-checked and safeguarding-trained teachers, we're a friendly team who have each student’s individual needs as our focus.

PQA Leeds-Bradford runs in the prestigious grounds of Woodhouse Grove School, where the team teach in fantastic spaces, including a professional drama studio and fully equipped theatre space. A secure venue with plenty of parking, the school is also just a short walk from Apperley Bridge Train Station.

Students aged 6-18 take part in our unique three-hour sessions, exploring:

•    Comedy & Drama: devising, improvisation, and script work
•    Film & TV: screenwriting, storyboarding, filming, and acting for camera
•    Musical Theatre: singing, dancing, and acting for stage

Students aged 4-6 take part in our 90 minute Poppets class:
• Poppets: an introduction to performing arts building skills and encouraging creativity

Whether your child wishes to perform on the West End or simply build their own confidence and social skills, PQA Leeds-Bradford would love to welcome you along to show you what we’re all about.

Principal
Kimberley Baker

I’m Kimberley and I’m incredibly proud to have been the Principal here at PQA for over 10 years! Throughout that time, we’ve been fortunate to perform on the West End 5 times! We’ve also regularly supported G4 & Nadia Eide on their Christmas tours, as well as prepared our own performances both in house and at local theatre venues.
