PQA Lytham St Annes is a weekend performing arts school for children, providing the best performing arts sessions every Friday and Saturday at Mayfield Primary School.

We deliver high-quality performing arts sessions which include classes in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. Our academy gives young people the space to learn new skills, make friends and build self-belief, all in a safe, warm and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.

The best part is, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:

• Comedy & Drama: students encounter everything from script work to stand-up comedy, with a focus on creative play and self-expression.

• Musical Theatre: students experience acting, singing and dance in one class, gaining real insight into what it means to be a Musical Theatre performer, with everything taught from an acting perspective.

• Film & Television: students gain hands on experience of the entire film making process from initial idea to the final cut and learn the art of acting for camera.

Managed by Principal Rachael and an exceptional team of teachers, all professionally trained and working in their respective professional fields. We are passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the life skills your child gains at PQA, such as confidence, resilience and communication, will stick with them throughout life!

We are running a Emerald Extravaganza Summer School, open to non PQA students. Click here to find out more and reserve your place!
