Bella Hughes Jones

Hi everyone! I’m Bella, PQA Conwy’s Musical Theatre teacher. As well as MT, I’m a lover of books and travelling whenever possible! I have been surrounded my Musical Theatre for as long as I remember and have performed in numerous theatres across North Wales. A professional career highlight of mine has been travelling across Italy delivering Drama Workshops for students of all ages. I have worked at PQA Conwy for the past few years as MT Assistant and am beyond excited to step into the Teaching role. I love teaching at PQA because of the comradery and friendly atmosphere! The students are incredible to teach and work so hard and I can't wait to pass on the skills, passion, and knowledge for all things Musical Theatre.

Lexi Jackson

Hi! I’m Lexi, the Musical Theatre teacher at PQA Denbigh. My love for performing goes back decades, after graduating from ICMT- London with Honours in Musical Theatre, I was over the moon to start my career in the West End and UK tour production of Godspell as Dance Captain. From West End to music videos, tours to cabaret and much more, I have had a very varied career! I still perform every week and I am SO excited to pass on my knowledge and create incredible shows and memories with this new and fabulous academy!

Liam Baker

Hi! My name is Liam, originally from Essex I have a BA (hons) in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Kent, Since graduating I have been part of the UK tour Back to the 80’s as a vocalist and I am currently touring with an educational dinosaur show and I even do an Elvis tribute solo show! I have qualified in stunt performance having perfected my craft with take 3 Action Academy and British Action Academy, specialising in everything from medieval sword screen action to Bow staff. I specialize in comedy and drama and cannot wait to teach about the techniques used to create amazing performances and increase confidence!

Philip Wright

Hello everyone. Really looking forward to meeting you all! For as long as I can remember, I've loved photography, film & television. Looks like you do too! As a child, I used my parents' cine camera, & as a young teenager, I had my own darkroom. I have worked with cameras ever since. I have a BA (Hons.) in Professional Media, specialising in video production. I have experience in documenting events, capturing special moments, including school photography, through to corporate & commercial work, music videography, sitcom, stunts for a motion capture film, social media & film studio experience. I've also done a little acting myself! My favourite piece of kit is my Steadicam! I'm at my most creative with a lens, choreographing the dance between camera & actor. I love to teach people new skills & see their enjoyment in learning.
