Performing Arts Classes at a Fantastic Venue.

PQA Cheltenham operates at Pates Grammar School. The hall with its massive gallery, huge floor, and stage space is used for Musical Theatre and Musical Theatre showcases. Film & TV have access to a large green screen and specialised lighting, as well as several cameras and computers to edit film work.


All our students and teachers enjoy working in these fantastic spaces. Parents appreciate the performing arts' foyer as the clear picking up and dropping off point every week, and where photographs of PQA Cheltenham's recent work are displayed.

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

I’ve been involved in productions from a very young age, from front room performances and dance shows to Shakespeare festivals and contemporary performance making. Alongside achieving an MA in Contemporary Performance Practice and a First Class Honours degree in Performance: Drama & Theatre, I am an experienced and passionate performance arts practitioner and facilitator, over 10 years’ experience in the youth theatre sector.
