Mikey Kowalczyk - Principal PQA Cambridge

Passionate about performing arts training for children and young people.

Mikey has been a part of PQA Cambridge since 2009; experiencing every part of the Academy from front desk to classroom, then becoming Principal of PQA Cambridge in 2011. PQA is part of Mikey's life, and he has seen it all as it has developed over the years giving him a vast knowledge of the Academy.

In 2012, Mikey produced and directed 'Fame' with Viva Theatre Company, which travelled across the Atlantic, giving many young people the opportunity to perform in New York! As an actor, Mikey has performed in many roles and knows very well how it feels to be part of a production at a young age. Mikey's fully committed experience as a youngster in local groups further progressed into professional acting work including playing The Toymaker in Cambridge based company Gomito's: A Toymaker's Christmas. During the week, Mikey works at Soham Village College as their theatre producer and drama teacher. As a principal, Mikey has overseen hundreds of students moving through the industry over the years. He continues to be so proud of their achievements and is always looking for the next exciting opportunities that he can present to the young people around him.
