Amy Boyd

Amy graduated from Buckinghamshire New University with a BA (Hons) degree in Dance and Performance. She has experience in teaching styles such as street, jazz, contemporary and disco freestyle, as well as choreographing routines for a range of dance shows. With a passion for all things dance and performance, Amy strives to bring enthusiasm and positivity to her classes and inspire the young performers of PQA!

Athena Gallagher

Athena has been amongst the performing arts world from a very young age, with involvement in a huge range of both stage and screen work, alongside lots of work as a workshop facilitator- particularly with SEN young people. Athena is currently studying for her Bachelorette Degree in Applied Theatre at the prestigious Central School of Speech & Drama. She is passionate about using the world of theatre and performance to bring people from all walks of life together.

James Barlow

James is an experienced actor, director, singer, and musician; making and facilitating work across various devised, comedy, musical and physical theatre disciplines. He has recently completed a successful west-end directorial run on NewsRevue, the world's longest running live comedy show, and continues as the founding Creative Director of The Makers Theatre, a theatre and creative arts company, exploring multi-disciplined theatre making and performance.

Lauren Barlow

Lauren trained at Performance Preparation Academy (PPA) in Guilford studying Acting for Stage & Screen where she had coaching from countless industry professionals such as Michael Attenborough, Katy Secombe and Charlie Barker. A trained Mezzo-Soprano, Lauren has worked in a range of charity and professional settings including as a Backing Vocalist and Soloist in venues including Wembley Arena, Sheffield City Hall, Manchester Arena, and many more. Through her love for acting, Lauren began in the industry with working for Netflix, on the upcoming Season 3 of Bridgerton, and most recently starring as Hobby in the UK tour of Teacher's Leavers' 22 by John Godber. Lauren is thrilled to be a part of the PQA family, and is excited to bring her love and passion for performing arts to the younger generations.

Lauren Spencer

With a passion for the performing arts, Lauren has vast experience in training in musical theatre and in a variety of dance styles starting from a young age. She studied music practice, education, and training in college as a singer and has recently graduated with a BA (hons) in Education Studies (primary). Lauren is excited to be part of the PQA team and looks forward to sharing her love for the arts with all of the young performers and creators!

Lucy Dexter

Phoebe Dexter

Phoebe has been dancing since she was three years old in a variety of genres including Ballet, Jazz, Commercial, Latin and Contemporary among others. She has had a strong passion for dance and Musical Theatre for as long as she can remember, taking part in exams, competitions at school and shows and productions since a young age. She is currently an undergraduate at Dancebox Studios and Theatre works, studying professional dance and musical theatre. Her dream and aspiration is to become a performer on a cruise ship or in the West End, and then to continue on into teaching to pass on her knowledge and love for the art.

Susan Lewis

An author and a writer, Susan has varied experience in creative writing, both in fiction genres for children, and non-fiction genres for children, and non-fiction genres for the adult community.
