PQA Brentwood is a performing arts school, located in Becket Keys C of E School, offering performing arts sessions which combine acting, singing, dancing lessons, filming and comedy, every Saturday.
Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 6-18. At PQA Brentwood, we are committed to delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.
The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television
Led by Principal Stephen and and a talented team of teachers, we pour passion into every session. And we firmly believe that the confidence, resilience, and communication your child gains at PQA will make a lasting impact!
Our team of industry professionals are here to help, guide and nurture your child on whichever path they choose – Comedy and Drama, Musical Theatre or Television and Film. At PQA, the excitement goes beyond performing, our students also explore creative pathways in the performing arts industry. Whether that be performing on-stage at His Majesty's Theatre in the West End to seeing your child's latest Film & TV work on the big screen - there's something for everyone at PQA. Take a look below at the exciting things we have coming up at PQA Brentwood.

Hello and a very warm welcome to PQA! I have been involved in the performing arts industry from an early age, taking my first role in the TV series “Devices and Desires” at the age of 13. Since then I have forged a successful career as an actress, director and teacher having graduated from The Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 1998. My work in theatre includes various West End productions, The Donmar Warehouse and a variety of roles for The Royal Shakespeare Company.
