Craig Grantham

Craig is our fantastic Academy Assistant and Deputy Vice-Principal, which basically translates to 'our amazing Academy Chameleon'; Craig can swiftly jump into a variety of roles with ease! You will find Craig at Academy either assisting in one of our classes, teching one of our productions, standing in to VP if Lydia or Aaron are away or helping us with the day-to-day running of Academy; in fact, he offers a whole lot more support behind the scenes as he is Lydia's husband! Craig's training and background is in music. As well as a phenomenal singer, Craig also plays the guitar. You may spot him out and about performing with his band. His passion for music and performance started at a young age. He went on to train at Hammersmith & West London College where he gained a Diploma in Popular Music, swiftly followed by a degree in Music from the Colchester Institute. Craig loves his time at Academy, working alongside our amazing students and inspiring them to be the best they can be!

Jack Rodrigues

Jack's love for performance and film has always been a constant throughout his life. Studying Drama in Secondary school, Film Studies in A Levels and Filmmaking at Birmingham City University. It's at university where Jack further developed his passion for filmmaking. In his second year, Jack directed and wrote his first short film with the support of his group. Alongside this experience, Jack helped improve his own skills through masterclasses, workshops and test shoots. It involved heavy hands-on experiences with sound, camera, lighting, editing and writing equipment. These skills especially helped Jack in his third year, where he was simultaneously a part of six short films. In these short films, he had a hand in many different roles. From Directing, Writing, Focus Pulling, Camera Assisting, Editing and even Acting. Since university, Jack has been hard at work editing a new short film, further improving his own filmmaking expertise. Jack is super excited to start his journey with PQA Bath. He can't wait to showcase his massive passion for filmmaking through teaching so many young faces.

Melanie Glanville-Gittins

Mel is passionate about supporting others in their creative journey. With a BA Hons degree in Theatre Studies, she has a strong academic foundation and practical experience in the world of performing arts. Mel loves being part of the PQA team and plays a crucial role in fostering a positive and nurturing environment for students, where they can develop their confidence and skills. She loves the inclusive nature of PQA, guiding students to find their own voice and embrace the joy of creative expression.

Nancy Cunningham

Nancy trained as an actress at The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London, and graduated with BA (Hons) in 2009. She has wide experience of theatre and film and has worked professionally as an actress in London for several years. Some of Nancy’s credits include The York Realist (Jackson Lane Theatre), Marat/Sade (Pleasence Theatre, London) and Millennium Concert (Theatre Royal Bath). Nancy also has a huge passion for immersive theatre, and within this, her credits include Jack the Rippers London (Off West End nominated), Mammon Le Mot (London Bridge Tunnels) and The Tick Tack Club 1921 (London Bridge Tunnels). Nancy loves teaching and working with young people. She has taught drama at a variety of London schools and worked as the Comedy and Drama teacher at PQA Romford where she was also the Vice-Principal. Having had her little boy in 2019, Nancy decided to relocate back to her hometown of Bath and has been loving getting back to her roots. The opportunity to teach at PQA Bath has been wonderful and Nancy is enjoying sharing her experience, as well as meeting all the students. She is looking forward to helping them achieve their goals within performance as well as having lots of fun!
