What to expect
Main Academy sessions last for three hours, with an hour dedicated to each of our three core modules.
These sessions are led by professional teachers who foster a hands-on, student-led approach to learning.
Through this, students not only develop a wide range of performing arts skills but also gain confidence, creativity, and valuable life skills.
Whether they’re into Musical Theatre, Film and TV, or Comedy & Drama, they’ll get to dive headfirst into the
exciting world of performing arts at PQA. All of this takes place in an inclusive and supportive environment where they can truly be themselves.

OUR MAIN ACADEMY MODULES.
Film & TV .
Our Film & TV module at PQA invites our students to explore all the exciting roles within the world of filmmaking, from performing on screen to working behind the scenes, directing, and creating their own short films.
Along the way, they gain a real understanding of how a production comes together, from initial ideas and scriptwriting, through filming, to editing and final screening.
MUSICAL THEATRE .
Our Musical Theatre projects bring everything together, combining singing with group choreography and performance.
They are designed to support all young performers, whether they are experienced singers or just beginning to find their voice, creating an inclusive space where everyone can take part and find what ‘centre stage’ means to them.
COMEDY & DRAMA .
Throughout our Comedy & Drama sessions, we inspire creativity and confidence through engaging activities like improvisation, script work, and character development.
Children and teens explore storytelling and performance techniques, building their skills in a fun, supportive environment.
