Zoom Call from Cbeebies TV Presenter Gemma Hunt for PQA Thanet students

Lockdown didn’t stop the talented students of PQA Thanet from continuing their performing arts training.

The entire academy moved online where they participated in Musical Theatre classes, worked on radio plays and even made their own films!

In addition, the academy welcomed some amazing guest speakers including the fantastic Gemma Hunt, best known for presenting the Cbeebies show ‘Swashbuckle’. Gemma chatted to the students about getting started in TV, working in the industry and much more.

The academy also enjoyed visits from Jo Hawes (Olivier Award winning casting director), Daisy Wood-Davis (former Hollyoaks actress and West End leading lady) and casting director, Ben Cogan.
