Students from PQA Brighton west walked the red carpet just like Hollywood stars!

The Pauline Quirke Academy Brighton West were delighted to hold their hugely exciting ‘red carpet’ 2016 Film Premiere at The Dome Cinema, Worthing – a Grade 2 listed building and one of the country’s oldest working cinemas.

Students along with friends and family watched their film projects on the big screen. Students have worked hard for many months writing, shooting, acting and editing their short films ready for the screening.

The quality of the films was simply outstanding, everyone worked incredibly hard on these projects and it was very exciting to see how the techniques they have learned in television and film were used to tell some brilliant stories.

Films shown included “Letters from Illyria”, the documentary of our promenade production of Twelfth Night and “The Proposal” (as seen on Brighton Live TV). The Academy has recently been commissioned by Surrey Police and Local Filmmakers for films that star some of our very talented students.

The aspiring actors and film makers enjoyed the glamourous event which they will never forget!
