PQA Wolverhampton Macmillan Coffee Morning
PQA Wolverhampton will be holding a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday 30th September.
Students, parents and families are invited to come along and join us for a coffee and cake to raise money for this fantastic cause. In the afternoon we will be joined by The Mayor of Wolverhampton Councillor Dr Michael Hardacre and will show a little bit of what our PQA students do to support the cause. We may have one or two other guests too to make this a special event!
One in two of us will face cancer at some point in our lives and the money we raise at the Coffee Morning will help everyone with cancer to live life as fully as they can. The very first Macmillan Coffee Morning back in 1990 was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £290 million for Macmillan.
