PQA Southend’s Christmas carol performance at The Shard

Students from PQA Southend were invited to perform a selection of Christmas songs at The Shangri-la Hotel restaurant, on the 34th floor of The Shard, London.

The students filled the restaurant with Christmas cheer as they performed classics as ‘Jingle Bells’, ‘White Christmas’ and Frozen classic ‘Let It Go’ to the diners. One particular party who heard the students singing were so impressed, that they invited the students to continue their performance at their private function! The students of PQA Southend stepped from one stage to another, as a selection of the students recently performed as a part of Madame Butterfly at the Cliffs Pavillion, through PQA’s exclusive agency, Quirky Kidz.

The Principal of PQA Southend, Emma Huet said “This was a great opportunity for students to perform in one of the most famous buildings in the world!  Each and every one of them worked so hard, attending extra rehearsals, learning harmonies and perfecting lyrics in just one week!  I am immensely proud of each of them and want to thank parents for their support”.
