PQA Romford raises over £1000 for Queens Hospital Romford

Our main project at PQA Romford for the Christmas term was to perform for friends and family in a special Christmas showcase raising money for our local hospital, Queen’s Hospital Romford. We also had a raffle with prize donations from Queens Theatre Hornchurch and Sycamores Swim School just to name a few.

We also had the opportunity to take some of our students to the hospital to sing in their reception area, welcoming guests to the hospital. We are very pleased to say that we have raised a staggering £1066.67 for the hospital! The money raised will be split, half going towards a new piece of equipment called a DaVinci Robot which can be operated by surgeons across the world and the other half will be going to the children’s ward.

We are incredibly proud of our students for giving back to the community by doing what they love and we hope to make this a tradition at our academy.
