PQA Peterborough’s G4 performance

In September the students of PQA Peterborough sang with vocal group G4 at The Kings Lynn Corn Exchange leg of their Live Tour. The whole Academy was very excited to be a part of this event.

As the students arrived at the stage door there was a real buzz in anticipation of what was ahead, and the evening didn’t disappoint. The students sang beautifully as they accompanied G4 and really rose to the challenge with their own solo, When I Grow Up, from the stage show Matilda.

G4 are a four-piece vocal group who first came to light when they finished second in Series 1 of the X Factor in 2004. They are known for their operatic delivery of modern pop songs. Originally a barbershop quartet, the members met at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama which was the inspiration behind their name.

PQA Peterborough’s Principal, Maureen said ‘This was such an amazing opportunity for the students at PQA Peterborough after opening our doors in April this year. The whole evening was amazing and everyone involved has made some incredible memories’.
