PQA Hemel Hempstead students inspired by BBC studios

PQA Hemel Hempstead students AM & PM joined together and embarked on an amazing trip to the BBC studios.

The large group were split into smaller groups of 25 and were encouraged to explore backstage with their very own guide. They all had the opportunity to wander around one of the most iconic venues for television in the world. They sat in the ‘One Show’ studio, recorded their very own radio play and had the experience of reading the news and weather.

David, the Principal of PQA Hemel Hempstead, added ”it is such an amazing experience for the students and really gives the children an insight into what it takes to make a TV show”.

Soon after that visit the Red group decided they would like to produce their own radio play which we are about to do in the next few weeks. It’s so nice to inspire them!
