PQA Enfield students perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre

On Sunday 22nd October students at PQA Enfield performed PQA’s specially written musical comedy, ‘The Lazy Ace’ at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End.

With a glitzy backdrop, glamorous girls, gangsters, street kids and a hard bitten film noir detective, The Lazy Ace was a dynamic and exciting show for our PQA Enfield students to perform. It featured a full professional standard set and a fantastic range of songs from retro classics like Viva Las Vegasto musical favourites like Good Morning and even chart pop hits like Shake it Off and Price Tag.

PQA Enfield students, teachers, Principal and Vice Principal have been working hard for months in the lead up to the show. Throughout the rehearsal process, the students have learnt how much hard work goes into taking a show from page to stage – learning lines, lyrics, challenging musicality and choreography, blocking scenes, working with props and staging and coming together as an ensemble to put on a fantastic show!

The students’ excellent attendance during the rehearsals and their sheer enthusiasm, excitement and commitment to PQA Enfield resulted in a very professional and slick show. We could not be prouder of everything they have achieved.

We received lots of wonderful feedback from our PQA Enfield parents and we wanted to share a few with you:

‘Absolutely amazing show and a fantastic experience for all the children. Thank you to each and every one of you for all the hard work you have put into producing such an amazing show.’

‘Well done to all the PQA students and thank you guys for putting together such an amazing show. We are still buzzing.’

‘Thank you PQA Enfield. You make so many children happy.’

‘It was fantastic, thank you to everyone involved in making it such a success.’
