PQA Cheltenham at The Filmnation Awards

On July 4th members of Red Group involved in creating the films ‘Sean’ and ‘I’m Sorry I Love You’ attended the National Filmnation Shorts Awards Ceremony at The British Film Institute. Their films had been nominated in the categories of Best Drama 14-16 year Olds and Best Film of The Month respectively. After each group was filmed explaining what their video was about, we were taken through to the screening room where the awards were hosted by Claudia Wilkleman. The ceremony was very exciting and just like at the Academy awards a different celebrity presented each award. We were not at all disappointed when on this occasion we were runners up in the two award categories, it gives us something to aim for next time! We had already won what we set out to achieve, which was, the prize for getting to the finals, and this is that the two films will be screened at the live Olympic sites around the country. We were so proud to represent PQA at such a prestigious event and look forward with enormous anticipation to the next time.

If you are interested in being a part of our next entry to a film competition contact Sue, principal of PQA-Cheltenham today, and who knows it might be YOU on the red carpet next time.
