PQA Bristol perform at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End
On July 7th 2013 PQA Bristol became zombies, ghouls and superheroes in ‘Fright Night’. Greens, Blues, Reds, staff, chaperones and parents all got on board a coach for London’s West End to join PQA Bradley Stoke, PQA Bridgnorth and PQA Cheltenham for a day of tech runs, dress runs and opening night nerves. Belting out songs from shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, Footloose and Barnum, PQA Bristol students showed their friends and family just what they could do whilst making their teachers and Principal very proud. It was a stifling hot day in London with little breeze in the theatre, home to Phantom of the Opera but despite the high temperatures it was a fun day and the students met the challenge tremendously well, of putting on a big and bold production. All the feedback from members of the audience were positive with comments such as ‘best performance they’d seen from PQA Bristol to date’ to ‘how cute were the greens as zombies and how the entire company were very professional’. It was lovely to also meet the students and Principals and staff from other PQA schools, it really is one big happy family.
