PQA Aylesbury reopened on 19th September with a bang!

Following much anticipation from staff, students and parents, PQA Aylesbury reopened on 19th September with a bang!
‘I can’t wait’… ‘So excited’ and ‘this is the news I’ve been waiting for’ were just some of the comments to the news. One parent emailed to say: “I just wanted to say thank you for your hard work planning the comeback and also a HUGE well done to you all. Personally I thought the whole drop off/pick up was so much better than normal, grief free!”

With all the required Covid-19 elements in place, children were once again able to enjoy 3 hours of performing with us; catch up with their friends and just escape from the crazy world we are currently living in!

As the principal, I thoroughly enjoyed popping my (visor-cladded) head in to each of the classrooms and seeing all children engaged in their activities.

They may have been socially distanced and wearing face shields, but that didn’t detract from the fun.

Some photos of the children in sessions can be found on our page and I aim to take many more next week.

Coronavirus won’t stop us from doing what we love… we will just take the necessary precautions, keep smiling and carry on.
