Fete fun and Barricade Boys
What a fabulous weekend for the children of PQA Aylesbury!
On Friday night, we were invited to perform once again at the Waterside Theatre with The Barricade Boys, a fantastic quartet all from the West End shows including Les Miserable.
Children from our red and blue group performed A Million Dreams and One Voice with Evelyn and Cerys, two of our newest members, performing wonderful solos to a large audience.
The show itself culminated in a rousing performance of Bohemian Rhapsody which received a standing ovation and the whole night was a brilliant success.
As if that wasn’t enough, the whole academy, including our Poppets (all under 5 years old), performed at a soggy Larks by the Lake, the summer fete in Watermead.
The rain couldn’t dampen our children’s spirits and the audience turned out in droves to support. Starting with A Million Dreams and culminating in From Now On, the children sung their hearts out and danced with enthusiasm.
Well done to everyone who took part. I am sure you will all agree they once again did PQA Aylesbury very proud and all looked to be enjoying themselves which is the main thing!
