A flying start at PQA Lichfield

Term one was a busy and exciting one for our brand new Academy here in Lichfield.

After a super open day , the term officially started with a real buzz as students got to know each
other and staff. It was lovely to see them all in their PQA tops and part of a new ‘ family’, ready
to do what they love to do – perform!

The end of term showcase was a great success. In Musical Theatre, students performed
excerpts from We Will Rock You, Hairspray and The Wizard of Oz. Comedy and Drama scenes
looked at a range of modern and classic plays. Over in Film and TV, each group performed in and
produced a music video to The Beatles song, Eleanor Rigby. Results were very thought provoking.

Lots to look forward to next term too, including a West End ‘Matilda’ workshop and a panto
presentation.
