PQA Basingstoke offers weekly classes in Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama and Film & TV each Saturday. We are based at Brighton Hill Community School and welcome children and young adults aged 4-18 from Basingstoke and the surrounding areas.

Our weekly sessions include delivering first-class performing arts giving children the space to allow them to learn new skills, make friends, build confidence, all in a safe and welcome environment while they explore the world of Comedy, Drama, Singing, Dancing and Filmmaking. 

Under the leadership of experienced Principal Ben and a fantastic team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA - like confidence, resilience and communication - will stick with them throughout life!

The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:

•    Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
•    Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
•    Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Ben is an experienced PQA Principal, running Guildford and Basingstoke academies and previously running Brighton academy. He also works in the industry as a Creative Director and Musical Director, having worked on over 75 theatre productions in the past 15 years.
