PQA York is a performing arts school for children every Friday and Saturday, based at Huntington School. Our weekly main academy sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 6-18 led by Principal James and an exceptional team of teachers.
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, film and act for television
We also have a 90-minute Poppets classes for children aged 4-6 sparking young imaginations through singing, dancing, and acting. At PQA York we are passionate about giving children the space to be themselves, learn new skills, make new friends, all in a safe and welcome environment while they explore the world of Performing Arts.
Whether that be performing on-stage at His Majesty's Theatre in the West End to seeing your child's latest Film & TV work on the big screen - there's something for everyone at PQA. In addition to the exciting opportunities available at PQA, we also offer children the opportunity to delve into other creative aspects of the performing arts industry.
