Passionate about performing arts training for children and young people.

Hi, I’m Becca and I am delighted to be the Principal of PQA! I have been part of the PQA family since September 2010, where I taught the Musical Theatre module for over 10 years I love everything about theatre and performing arts. It is my aim as Principal to nurture, encourage and support my students to build their passion in the performing arts and to help their confidence and enjoyment grow.

My journey into performing arts began at the age of 7 when my family encouraged me to join a drama club to overcome my shyness. Discovering my love for drama, I soon expanded my interests to dance, singing, and acting. I graduated in 2008 from the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, earning a BA(Hons) in Musical Theatre with a Dance and Drama scholarship. Although I love performing, teaching has become my true passion since graduation. In 2010, I embarked on a transformative 4-month volunteer teaching trip to Uganda, where I taught Drama and P.E. to classes of up to 130 children in a village school. In 2015, I brought the PQA experience to Barbados, running a summer camp for children on holiday there. At PQA all students are welcomed and made to feel part of a community from the outset, encouraged to be the best they can be, build confidence, learn new skills, and make friends for life. Our motto ‘be yourself, be amazing’ very much reflects this ethos.
