Every Saturday, PQA Ruislip based at Bishop Ramsey School, offers classes in musical theatre, comedy, drama and filmmaking for children ages 4-18. 

Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people. At PQA Ruislip, we are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.

The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:

•    Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
•    Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
•    Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television


Led by Principal Lisa and a talented team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA - like confidence, resilience and communication - will stick with them throughout life!

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Hello and a very warm welcome to PQA! I have been involved in the performing arts industry from an early age, taking my first role in the TV series “Devices and Desires” at the age of 13. Since then I have forged a successful career as an actress, director and teacher having graduated from The Central School of Speech and Drama in London in 1998. My work in theatre includes various West End productions, The Donmar Warehouse and a variety of roles for The Royal Shakespeare Company.
