Emma Bostock

Emma is originally from Middlesbrough in the North East - you can take the girl out of the North, but you can't take the North out of the girl! She trained in Musical Theatre and Dance Performance at the University of Cumbria, graduating in 2013. Since graduating Emma has lived in London and has worked in various areas of the industry. Some of her favourite roles to date are Statyllis in Lysistrata, Spirit of the Ring in Aladdin and Persil the Mermaid in Peter Pan. Emma is also a member of the West End Gospel Choir and had the privilege of performing for the King at Buckingham Palace in 2022. She is an extremely passionate drama teacher and also teaches private singing lessons.

Kieran Rose

Kieran is an alumnus of the National Youth Theatre, where he performed in a variety of shows from Shakespeare to street theatre at the start of his career. Now he is facilitating in schools, theatres, museums and prisons nationally. Kieran continues to grow as a performer with parts in television advertisements, costume dramas and outdoor theatre. He studied Applied Theatre at St Mary's University where he developed his acting finesse in stand-up comedy and community theatre productions. He took this with him on an international placement to South Africa to use his skills in the local communities. Kieran also likes to keep up to date with skills such as taking part in comedy courses with Mischief Theatre and a Stage and Screen combat course with the BADC. He has just finished performing with a community group at the RSC’s open-air theatre in Stratford upon Avon where he multirole a variety of comedic characters. Kieran has worked with PQA Putney in their West End performance of 'Across the Line' at His Majesty's Theatre. He is excited to carry on that work with PQA Richmond.

Lewie Bainsfair

Lewie Bainsfair is a former PQA Richmond student who has been with us for almost a decade. He spent over two years as a teaching assistant in a special needs primary school, gaining invaluable experience working with children. Lewie is now studying Screenwriting at Chichester University. Having loved his time at PQA, he is excited to support the next generation of students and help them enjoy their experience as much as he did.

Lisa Mathieson

Lisa, currently performing in the West End production of Mrs. Doubtfire, brings extensive experience as both a performer and teacher and is thrilled to join the team. Lucia Vinyard

Lucia Vinyard is an actor and singer who graduated in 2022 from Rose Bruford College before continuing her studies with a Masters in Musical Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She has been honoured with both the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarship and the Leverhulme Arts Scholarship, recognising her talent and dedication. Having grown up attending performing academies herself, Lucia cherishes the confidence, friendship, and passion they foster. If even one child leaves the academy feeling inspired and motivated, then it has been a successful day!

Scott Matthews

Since moving to London in 2013, after gaining a BA Joint Honours in Musical Theatre and Dance Performance, Scott has been fully immersed in teaching Dance and Musical Theatre. He went on to complete an MA in Choreography at Laban and also trained as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, broadening his skill set. After many years working self-employed and teaching a wide range of genres across London, Scott retrained as a secondary school teacher, gaining a PGCE in English and Drama. During the week, he teaches Drama and Dance at a highly creative school in central London, and at weekends he brings his expertise to PQA as a Musical Theatre teacher.

Sofia Piletto

Sofia Piletto is a filmmaker who recently graduated from the University of Sussex with a First-Class degree in Filmmaking, specialising in screenwriting and directing. Her journey began in 2017–2018 when she appeared on the CBBC show Raven, before joining PQA Richmond AM. During her time at PQA she worked on Film & TV projects that went on to win multiple PQA Film Festival awards, as well as taking on professional acting roles, including The Electrical Life of Louis Wain (2019) alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Claire Foy. Her passion for filmmaking grew while at PQA and went on to inspire her studies at film school. Having thrived in the PQA environment, she is thrilled to return to work with the talented students, nurture the filmmakers of the future, and continue building on PQA Richmond’s Film & TV success.
