At PQA Preston, we’re based at Penwortham Priory Academy and offer a range of immersive weekend performing arts classes. Alongside singing, acting, and comedy & drama, we also have loads of fun with TV and filmmaking projects for kids and young adults.
At PQA Preston, our wish is for each of our students to feel a valued member of our academy as they journey through the world of performing arts. We do this by creating a friendly and inclusive space for them, in which they are encouraged to make friends, try something new and pick up some important life skills along the way.
We offer a range of unique classes in which our supportive teachers encourage students to take on a variety of activities under their expert direction and tuition. By offering a full range of projects in drama, theatre and film, your child will find out what they like best, whether it’s being on stage or behind the camera. Without even realising, they will be learning key skills in team building and problem-solving!
PQA Preston is located in Penwortham Priory Academy, which is fully equipped with everything we need for our weekly classes, including a dance and drama studio with sound and lighting, a projector and stage curtains. There is also full disabled access and on-site parking.
To see if it’s a good fit for you and them, we offer all children a free session. Simply select your preferred time and book today to learn more about how the performing arts can enhance your child’s life.
Hi I am Teri and I am the very proud principal of PQA Wickford. I originally trained as an actress and whilst at drama school I co-wrote the book for the musical MARIE LLOYD AND HER EAST END SISTERS which was performed at both The Theatre by the Lake, Cumbria and The Century Theatre, Keswick. I also have an MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
