PQA Preston, we’re based at Penwortham Priory Academy and offer a range of immersive weekend performing arts classes. Alongside singing, acting, and comedy & drama, we also have loads of fun with TV and filmmaking projects for kids and young adults.

Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 4-18. At PQA Preston, we are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.

Led by Principal Aimee and an exceptional team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA - like confidence, resilience and communication - will stick with them throughout life!

The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:

•    Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
•    Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
•    Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for televisio

Aimee Leigh

Hello, my name is Aimee Leigh, and I am pleased to introduce myself as the Principal of PQA Preston. Acting has always been my passion and has shaped the person I have become today. As a child, all I wanted was to perform. I was always at my happiest when on stage and I was lucky enough to be able to follow my dream.
