PQA Penryn & Falmouth is a weekend performing arts school for children every Friday evening at Penryn College. Our weekly lessons include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for young people aged 4-18.

PQA's main academy explores weekly three-hour sessions:
•    Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
•    Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
•    Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, film and act for television


In addition to our main academy, we also have a 90-minute Poppets classes for children aged 4-6 sparking young imaginations through singing, dancing, and acting. We are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts, led by Principal Samuel and an exceptional team of teachers.

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.
