PQA Neath is a weekend performing arts school for children, offering high-quality performing arts classes every Saturday morning at Cefn Saeson Comprehensive School.
Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged between 4-18. At PQA Neath, we are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make good friends, build self-belief, gain confidence, face their fears, in a safe, supportive, fun and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.
The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television
Run by Principal Tom and an amazing team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the pivotal life skills your child gains at PQA, like confidence, resilience and communication will stick with them throughout life!

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Hi, I’m Tom and I am the principal at PQA Neath. As a child I was captivated by musical movies: The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and The Wizard of Oz. This is where my love of theatre began. Performance has always been part of my identity; therefore it was an easy decision after leaving school to attend Trinty St David’s where I gained my BA. As part of my course, I spent time studying Dance and Musical Theatre at California State University, a life experience I will cherish and never forget.
