PQA Maidstone is a weekend performing arts school for children, offering professional performing arts sessions every Friday morning and afternoon at the Maplesden Noakes School.
Our weekly classes include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged between 4-18. At PQA Maidstone, we are devoted to delivering first-class performing arts sessions enabling children the space to gain new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and rewarding environment while they explore the world of performing arts.
The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television
Managed by Principal Verity and an incredible team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the life skills your child learns at PQA, like confidence, resilience and communication, will stick with them throughout life!
As well as the amazing opportunities available at PQA, we also offer children the opportunity to delve into other creative aspects of the performing arts industry. Our team of industry professionals are here to help, guide and nurture your child on whichever path they choose – Comedy and Drama, Musical Theatre or Television and Film. Whether that be performing on-stage at His Majesty's Theatre in the West End to seeing your child's latest Film & TV work on the big screen - there's something for everyone at PQA. Have a look at the exciting things we have coming up at PQA Maidstone.

I opened my first academy back in 2009 and from this moment on, I quickly realised that the arts can serve as a powerful avenue for a child's well-being and emotional growth. I love watching how the children at my academies in Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells and Rochester become resilient, expressive and confident.
