PQA Maghull launches on 20th September offering performing arts classes each Saturday and is based at Deyes High School.
Our weekly sessions include Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television for children and young people aged 4-18. At PQA Maghull, we are passionate about delivering first-class performing arts sessions giving children the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.
Led by Principal Lucy and an exceptional team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA - like confidence, resilience and communication - will stick with them throughout life!

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!
Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Hello, my name is Lucy, and I am delighted to be the Principal of PQA Maghull! As a mum of two I have a huge passion for creating fun and safe environments for children and young people. PQA helps me cultivate this safe space enabling the students to focus on developing their life skills and confidence through a creative learning approach.
The teachers and I take mindfulness, wellbeing, equality, diversity, and inclusion very seriously. This matched by my determination to share my professional West End experiences and ensuring high quality teaching in all modules, I guarantee that PQA Maghull really is the place to be!
I have a wealth of experience in the performing arts industry, teaching dance, singing and drama. Currently, I am studying a PGCE with QTS for Secondary. From my time as a West End performer with now a nursing degree and soon to be a secondary school teacher, I am super grateful for the opportunity to help young people flourish and grow through their passion for the arts. I have worked as a performer in London's West End and been a higher educational lead for a musical theatre degree. A tutor for a university, a college, dance and performing arts schools. I am yoga instructor, and a registered nurse and have been a production vocalist, and a registered healthcare manager.
