Our awesome students have a blast working on exciting filmmaking, comedy & drama and musical theatre classes led by our team of professional teachers. We’re all about celebrating each child’s unique creativity, building their self-belief, and making sure Saturday is always their favourite day of the week!

We welcome children and teens to try our performing arts classes by attending a full session at no charge. Come along and discover what makes PQA so unique, meet the team and join in the fun!

Your academy Principal will let you know how to become a member after your free session. Your child’s place is held for a few days after your session, giving you time to decide if PQA is the right choice for your child.

Principal
Marie Stimson-Machers

Marie studied Film & Television with Theatre Studies at Derby University followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Drama & Contextual Studies at The University of Reading. After one year of teaching, she was promoted to Head of Drama and continued in this role for 16 years in the local area – she is also a licensed chaperone and looks after children in the Performing Arts sector.
