Chloe Rojahn

Chloe has been part of the PQA Leicester from the very beginning; she was one of the academy’s original students! A keen Musical Theatre performer, Chloe also has a QCF diploma level 3 in Childcare and in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. She has been working in education for over a decade and currently teaches in an SEN school. Chloe has been overseeing the Poppets Academy since 2017 and is proud to help the youngest students at PQA Leicester develop their performance skills, along with their confidence, social and communication skills.

Danni Fisher

Danni is a dancer, choreographer and Musical Theatre performer. A LAMDA student and Dance Studies graduate of the renowned Liverpool John Moores University, Danni is experienced in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz & Street dance. It was her experience of coaching young people as part of her degree that led her into teaching. Danni has performed in numerous productions, including a turn at the Millennium Dome, and a leading role in a dance production of ‘Clara's Christmas Dream’. She has also choreographed two amazing West End performances with our students!

Hayden Sterland

Hayden is a filmmaker and actor with a Masters degree in International Film Production. He also has a degree in Acting and Creative Performance Practice and at college achieved a Triple Distinction in Media Studies. In his time teaching at PQA Hayden and the students have accumulated 13 regional film awards to date! He has worked on numerous sets with production companies including the BBC, ITV, SKY and Netflix.

Haylie Taylor

Haylie works alongside Chloe as our Poppets assistant and has been part of the PQA Leicester family since 2016. A keen performer, she enjoys being on the stage whether singing, dancing or acting, but more recently her interests have moved to crafts and making props and costume pieces for our Poppets' shows. Once a primary teacher, Haylie now works in creating Wall Art for schools and colleges, and, although she loves it, she still looks forward to her Saturdays with the Poppets!

Holly Whiting

Jan Ayre

Jan is our academy mummy! She looks after the students and their parents and offers support (and plenty of tea!) to the team. She has many years of experience working in both schools and healthcare. Jan keeps the academy running smoothly on a Saturday.

Natasha Geary

We are very proud of our Teaching Assistants team. All were PQA Leicester students at one point and all have a great sense of care and commitment towards the next generation. You can also always rely on Tasha for safety pins!

Natasha Plummer

Natasha is a graduate of the University of Gloucestershire with a First Class Honours degree in Performing Arts. She has been a part of PQA since the very beginning as she joined as a student back in May 2011! One of her many highlights as a PQA student was playing the principal role of Angel Applewood in their 2016 West End production, The Lazy Ace. Natasha has a wide range of experience both on stage and screen with her training theatre credits including Soloist in The Last Ten Years, Pauline Gower in Into the Blue and Tilly in The Waterbabies. More recent roles include Phyllis in 42nd Street, Charity in Anything Goes, Kate in Legally Blonde and Princess Fiona in Shrek. Natasha has also worked as a performer for Twycross Zoo where she played the Gruffalo and she currently provides entertainment as various characters including pirates, dinosaur trainers and one of Santa’s elves at Twinlakes.

Ria Bains

Tom Mottram

Tom is an actor, director, Musical Theatre performer and storyteller. With a First Class Honours degree in Performing Arts, Tom’s roles for the stage have included Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Fagin in Oliver!, Bernardo in West Side Story, Sammy in The Wedding Singer and the lead role of Leo Frank in Parade. Tom is also an accomplished musician and has worked as a guitarist and singer in acoustic bands. In addition to his theatre work, Tom has worked as a freelance drama and storytelling practitioner, facilitating workshops within schools nationwide. He also has regular acting work as a simulated patient for the Medical School at Leicester University and has trained in and performed Stand Up Comedy!
