PQA Cirencester is a weekend performing arts school for children offering Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television sessions every Sunday at Watermoor C of E Primary School, providing a creative space for young people.
Our weekly performing arts sessions welcome young people aged 6-18. At PQA Cirencester, we are passionate about providing children with the space to learn new skills, make friends, build self-belief, all in a safe and welcoming environment while they explore the world of performing arts.
The best part, there is no need to pick just one class, PQA's weekly three-hour sessions explore:
• Comedy & Drama class: your child will learn creative play, Improv and scriptwriting
• Musical Theatre class: your child will learn to sing, dance and act for theatre
• Film & Television class: your child will start to storyboard, screenwrite, film and act for television
Led by experienced Principal Marie and a talented team of teachers, we're passionate about what we do, and we strongly believe that the important life skills your child gains at PQA - like confidence, resilience and communication - will stick with them throughout life!
In addition to the exciting opportunities available at PQA, we also offer children the opportunity to delve into other creative aspects of the performing arts industry. Our team of industry professionals are here to help, guide and nurture your child on whichever path they choose – Comedy and Drama, Musical Theatre or Television and Film. Whether that be performing on-stage at His Majesty's Theatre in the West End to seeing your child's latest Film & TV work on the big screen - there's something for everyone at PQA. Take a look below at the exciting things we have coming up at PQA Cirencester.

Hi, I’m Tom and I am the principal at PQA Neath. As a child I was captivated by musical movies: The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and The Wizard of Oz. This is where my love of theatre began. Performance has always been part of my identity; therefore it was an easy decision after leaving school to attend Trinty St David’s where I gained my BA. As part of my course, I spent time studying Dance and Musical Theatre at California State University, a life experience I will cherish and never forget.
