Last Saturday (3rd December), PQA Watford’s Poppets took to the stage to perform the world premiere of The Lazy Elf. The West Herts College Theatre was packed with proud family members who were enthralled by the story of how the Elves saved Christmas.

Mr and Mrs Claus and their team of hardworking elves were left in quite the predicament when The Lazy Elf's laziness threatened to put a stop to Christmas completely! With no snow and not enough presents for all the boys and girls, Santa and his elves were left merely dreaming of a White Christmas as they were tasked with restoring The Lazy Elf's Christmas spirit and getting Christmas back on track!

Our Poppets worked so hard and put on a brilliant Christmas show. Their splendid singing and superb storytelling had everyone on the edge of their seats. The Poppets rendition of Let it Snow (complete with actual snow!) left big festive smiles on everyone's faces.

As if performing a show with full costume and lighting wasn't exciting enough, each Poppet received a festive certificate in recognition of all their hard work. They posed for a very cute photo before heading home.

It was a truly magical day full of festive cheer and the PQA Watford team couldn't be prouder. We can't wait to see what they perform next term!
