STARS UNDER THE STARS OF THE NATIONAL SPACE CENTRE!

The students of PQA Leicester recently had the most amazing screening of the short films they’d made at PQA in the huge planetarium of the National Space Centre!

It was a jaw-dropping venue and the perfect place for an evening of live performance and film fusion. The students, aged 6-18 years, performed abstract pieces relating to their films underneath the imposing capsule of the Soyuz rocket, before following their invited guests into the planetarium to watch the films they'd been working so hard on over the past six months.

Students took full ownership and responsibility for their films, taking on roles both in front of and behind the camera.

They were rewarded with 19 stunning short films that are now destined for the film festival circuit!

We hope you enjoy just a few images from the event, taken by Peter Fothergill of Fothergill Photography.
