PQA YORK AM ROCK THEIR ‘BAT OUT OF HELL’ MASTERCLASS
On Saturday 26th February, the students from PQA York AM were treated to a fantastic Rock ‘n’ Roll masterclass based on the musical ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ with West End performer Ben Purkiss.
Students performed the opening number from ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ and found out lots more about what it’s like to be a part of a West End company.
Ben’s credits include Zorro in ‘Zorro the Musical’ at Hope Mill Theatre, Strat (Alternate) in the Original West End cast of ‘Bat Out Of Hell’ at the London Coliseum and lots more!
“Our students had a great time in their masterclass with Ben. It’s great for them to work with West End professionals who can offer bang up-to-date and relevant training for our young performers”, said Principal James Aconley. “It’s just wonderful that these opportunities are available to all of our students as part of their membership with us”.
