PQA Wickford at Sky Studios

Some of PQA Wickford’s AM & PM students completed a news report on extreme weather for the SkyUp Academy based at Sky Studios last week! They worked on creating a weather report. This involved researching facts for two days and practising using an autocue on the Tuesday. On the Wednesday, they travelled by coach to Osterley, West London where they worked with the team at Sky to produce their very own report.

They were able to use the editing suite and the green screen. They also worked the high-tech cameras in the four studios and were even allowed to observe a live Sky Sports studio in action.
