This month the segment focussed on what you can expect from a Free Taster Session at PQA.
We invited Stray FM presenter Beth Parsons along to PQA where she got a taste of what our students get up to every Saturday. Beth took part in the following modules:
Comedy and Drama
Students were beginning preparation work for their upcoming show in the West End and Beth learnt all about stage directions and the correct terminology needed for working in a professional theatre environment.
Students were going over the vocals from their recent Trinity Exam, for which they were awarded Distinctions. Beth got to rap along with our students to the much-loved musical Hamilton.
Film and TV
The fun did not stop there as Beth then joined our PM Academy students for their exciting Film and TV lesson and got involved in all aspects of Filmmaking from directing, sound, lighting, acting and much more.
To hear more about what Beth got up to and to hear her amazing rapping skills click here to listen to her being interviewed by PQA Harrogate students. You can also watch clips of the Film and TV session below. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for the date of our next exciting radio show next month.
We loved having Beth join us for the day at PQA but sadly she is not the right age to join us full time. If you know someone aged between 4 and 18 that would love to come along for a FREE taster session of their own at PQA then you can request your free info pack today!
