The masterclass, which was held at PQA on 4th February, covered all aspects of pop and commercial dance as well as giving the students the opportunity to ask questions about the performing arts industry.
Lori-Suzanne, who trained at the Tiffany Theatre College and the Leeds College of Music, has enjoyed much success in UK theatres, television and on cruise liners across the world.
"The young people of Beverley are fantastic young performers", said Lori-Suzanne. "I had a great time working with the students and watching them learn new skills. It was great to chat with them after each workshop to find out what aspects of the performing arts they most enjoyed, and I was able to pass on some of my industry knowledge to help them realise their goals and full potential. There are some real stars of the future at PQA Beverley!".
Lori-Suzanne has played roles in various pantomime around the country and has appeared on reality TV shows such as ITV's Grease is the Word in 2017 and in the National Final of Britain's Got Talent in 2010. For the past five years, Lori-Suzanne has been working onboard P&O Cruises in the Headliners Theatre Company, as well as appearing in UK tours such as Pop Factor whilst on land!
"Professional industry masterclasses are just one way that we really give our students a unique and up-to-date performing arts experience", said Principal of the Academy James Aconley. "We have exciting sessions every week in Musical Theatre, Comedy & Drama and Film & Television, which are further complemented by performance opportunities in London's West End and regionally, cinema screenings, Trinity College London exams and our agency Quirky Kidz Creative Management".
