PAULINE QUIRKE ACADEMY WOLVERHAMPTON STUDENTS READY FOR THEIR TRIP TO HMT

Pauline Quirke Academy Wolverhampton students will on 14th September perform onstage at the iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s prestigious West End.

Pauline Quirke Academy Wolverhampton students will on 14th September perform onstage at the iconic Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s prestigious West End. To appear on such a famous stage in the footsteps of the cast of Phantom of the Opera is a dream come true for so many of the students, they have worked long and hard on the show developing their performance with only 1 hour per week available to them to prepare until a few weeks ago. Their preparations were further hampered by the school holidays which has meant a 4 week gap during August. The show is a spectacular mix of songs linked by a haunted village theme and is entitled Fright Night. The show was specially written for Pauline Quirke Academy students and features a number of academies working together on each show. Wolverhampton will be working with academies from Rochester and Aylesbury in the unusual position of having only met them on the day. Many of Pauline Quirke Academy students taking part in the show have appeared on stage before when the academy provided the villagers for La Boheme and Aida at The Grand Theatre while a number have appeared on TV via the Pauline Quirke Academy Agency. If you wish to appear in the West End in September or are interested in any of the other activities that Pauline Quirke Academy Wolverhampton has to offer then please contact Julian on 07838115152 or email Wolverhampton@pqacademy.com.
