I'm fairly new to PQA but I already feel like part of the family. When it was my first day of PQA I was really, really nervous because there are so many people there who been there since poppets (poppets is the youngest group).
I have been to many other musical theatre schools and I always felt left out there. Where as when I went to PQA it was different, I made friends within 5 minutes. When it was time to go to the first lesson my nerves had already gone!
When we got to the first lesson I made even more friends and it was my style of mixture between acting, singing and dancing. Everyone is different at PQA but it's easy to fit in and everyone is treated equally. The teachers are nice and friendly and if you don't know what to do they help.
The best thing was that when I joined they let me do a performance that the others had been practicing for months. It was at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and with G4, it made me feel like I had been at PQA for years.
So that's what it's like to be a new student, even if it feels nerve-racking and scary just have fun and do what you do best. Act Sing or Dance at Pauline Quirk Academy. Be yourself be amazing!
