I have always wanted to be a professional actress ever since I was 9 years old! I eventually went to full time drama school as an adult where I was lucky enough to win a scholarship and graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2006. Since leaving Mountview some of my credits include The Bill, Sainsburys and Asda commercials, The Woman in Black in the West End, Ben Elton's Popcorn and the stage production of Alfie. As a child and teenager I attended various Saturday theatre schools and loved every minute of it! I was a very shy child and acting gave me the confidence that not only helped me in my career but in my everyday life.
Being so passionate about performing arts, cinema and theatre led me into teaching 3-18 year olds in various well known theatre schools. The joy and entertainment the students have brought me over the years is priceless.
There are so many exciting things happening at PQA Hertford which I am extremely lucky to be part of. Our TV & Film classes will give students the chance to experience the fantastic world of screen acting, musical theatre provides the opportunity to perform in your favourite musicals along with our comedy & drama classes, where you can play games, improvise, create your own characters, express through mime, costumes and music, work on scripts plus so much more.
So whether you just to want to have loads of fun, build your confidence or dare to dream! Come along to PQA Hertford and see for yourself how much fun there is to have on Saturday mornings!
David started with PQA Hertford initially when it opened in September 2011 as a runner and to help his wife Susie. After a short break from Easter 2012 to July 2013, he returned to PQA Hertford as the Vice Principal. Despite not having any experience of the performing arts, David thoroughly enjoys working at PQA Hertford and says "No matter how long or how hard the working week has been, when you arrive at PQA Hertford on a Saturday and feel the excitement and energy in the place you can't help but forget about everything else and get involved."

I have been working in the performing arts industry since the age of 5. I attended The Sylvia Young Theatre School part time and then won a Stage Newspaper scholarship to attend the full time school. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work in the West End and TV and Film, including a drama that was nominated for a BAFTA in which I played the lead actress. Having the privilege to have worked with many first class actors including Daniel Radcliffe, Jimmy Nesbitt, Jon Hamm and Myanna Buring, I have gained valuable experience and knowledge which is why I would love to be able to share this with up and coming students at PQA Hertford. I'm currently studying at Music College and am a member of The National Youth Theatre as well as being one of their Ambassadors. I love working with children and helping them develop confidence and their love for performing.
