Hi my name is Lucy and I am delighted to be the principal of PQA Bath!
I studied Drama and Education at Bath Spa University and have stayed in the Bath area ever since.
I fell in love with performing arts from a very young age. I remember my very first visit to the Theatre Royal in Bath when I was 6, from then on I was hooked!
I have various experiences in performing, teaching, dance, comedy, directing and producing which I have gained through University, work and training.
My biggest claim to fame was being given the opportunity to perform in the Wookey Hole circus as The Witch of Wookey Hole!
I have a huge passion for both education and the theatre. My ambition is to inspire, motivate, educate and build confidence in as many young minds as possible. Being the principal of PQA Bath really is the best job in the world.
Vice Principal & Musical Theatre
I have had a passion for performing since a very young age, constantly aiming to learn and develop from every class I went to.
In 2013 I started at Creative Academy where I did three years of intense training in just about every style of dance! Once I had graduated I was lucky enough to find jobs related to what I love the most - performing.
I have been with PQA Bath for two years now and have honestly loved every minute. Every show I aim to grow, challenge and adapt as a teacher, the proudest product of this is seeing all the incredible students at PQA Bath thriving to do the same - long may it continue!

Katherine is currently a second year Drama and Music student at Bath Spa University. She has had a passion for musical theatre and the arts since the age of twelve when she took part in her first show, 'The Wizard of Oz'.
Originally from South Wales, Katherine began Ballroom and Latin dance lessons at the age of seven with Dance World. She then began singing lessons at the age of fourteen, training classically and being examined by ABRSM. At the age of seventeen, Katherine discovered LCM Musical Theatre exams and over an 18 month period, completed her grades 6, 7 and 8. Between the ages of fourteen and eighteen, while still at high school, Katherine performed in many concerts and shows, including singing in the Royal Albert Hall. She has also performed in many musicals such as Jekyll and Hyde, The Little Shop of Horrors and Miss Saigon to name a few.
In addition to being a trained vocalist, Katherine also plays flute, saxophone and piano. These led her to be in Torfaen Music Centre Senior Wind Band and performing in competitions such as Music for Youth's National Festival in Birmingham.

Film & Television
Howard's dynamic film making sessions challenge children of all ages and abilities to explore their creative strength and to tell their own stories. His work in mainstream education and the wider community over the past 15 years has delivered hundreds of creative video projects, often merging live action with animation and spectacular post-production.
He believes that storytelling through moving image is a powerful way for young people to understand both themselves, and the world around them. While these films may sometimes communicate serious messages, they always do so in a way that is playful, accessible and entertaining.
His commercial portfolio includes commissioned films for major arts organisations, theatre, publishing, the health service and local government.
